How soon after catching this, do you start coughing ?

Say someone started coughing sat afternoon, and say they’ve caught it, when do you think they would have been likely to have picked it up ?

I think it takes five days for symptoms to show so they caught it five days ago.

I don’t think it’s possible to tell. All the information I’ve seen says the incubation period is between 2 and 14 days, with a very few outliers up to 24 days, and the most common is 5 days.
