Should I go to work or not

I’m a teacher.

Husband was up all night last night with diarrhoea and fever, he has hardly got out of bed today and still feverish (no cough)

He is going to self iso for 7 days (he’s feeling really poorly so quite easy for him to do this)

I am very well. Obv they won’t test him for corona now. I think I should be going to work as normal tomorrow but my MIL is getting cross saying I shouldn’t. I can’t see any guidance from NHS (I’m sure the thing about whole families self isolating was coming in the future)

WWYD

Where is there any guidance for me??

Currently only the person with symptoms has to self isolate. Maybe ring your school in the morning and see if they want you in, I suspect they will.

I'm sorry about your husband. Is he able to follow all the rules of self-isolation? If so, then you are currently advised to go to work. But if he is not able to self-isolate effectively (e.g. you don't have a spare bedroom or he is too unwell to clean the toilet after himself) then you should self-isolate too.

Have you checked your own temperature?
