What is a fever?

This feels like a stupid question but I realised today that I don't actually know what temperature would be classed a fever.
I feel like this is something I need to know considering I've started taking mine and ds temp each morning!

Above 37.5C

Usually 38c or higher, but for corona they’re saying stay home if you’re at 37.8 or higher

Thank you. I'm trying not to panic overly but just the fact I'm taking temps morning and eve suggests otherwise!
