That's a lovely gesture.

I live alone and have a huge supply because I always stocked up 'just in case', never dreaming something like this would happen. I have shared some of my supply but putting them outside might encourage people to take a few rather than one or two and then we'd all be back to square one.

I'll give to anyone I know who is in need for the time being.
