Ideas to help my community

I want to start something in my local community to reach out to those who are lonely or stuck during isolation. I was thinking about a Facebook Group where people could offer their services like picking up prescriptions or food. The issue with that is the most vulnerable of our communities won't have access to Facebook or the Internet.

Has anyone seen any initiatives in their local area that I could look at for inspiration?

I have seen some little business card things on Facebook that you print out, fill in, and pop through letterboxes. Basically saying you are happy to run errands.
An alternative would be to contact your local church and ask if they have a help rota.

this is perhaps what the previous poster mentioned. Looks a nice idea

Definitely contact your local church. There is only one elderly couple near me and I have been to see them this afternoon. They were so grateful I went round and left them my phone number. He is 89 and she is 87 and they were in a state about how they would get food as they don't have any family nearby. It is so important we offer help to those who need it.
