I’m supposed to be going to my friends wedding on the 10th of April. I’m honestly expecting it to be cancelled. I’m so sorry for you xxxxx

sausagefingersH · 15/03/2020 17:41

I haven't even let myself consider it would be cancelled until today - now that Ireland have closed all pubs for two weeks it's sent my anxiety into overdrive Sad all the planning, organising, money - it will all be gone SadSadSad

We have a big Indian wedding on 4th April no idea what’s going to happen because it’ll be minimum 600 people Hmm

Wishforsnow · 15/03/2020 17:46

I think weddings are likely to get cancelled as people would be travelling from all over UK and would risk elderly relatives

Scruffyoak · 15/03/2020 17:57

You could still marry but without the big affair? Xx

peachypetite · 15/03/2020 17:59

Can you cancel now and get money back?

Cacaca · 15/03/2020 18:01

Yes they could, but risk losing everything they have paid for. I believe wedding insurance is not 100% likely to pay out in circumstances like these.

peachypetite · 15/03/2020 18:02

What are your suppliers saying?

PotteringAlong · 15/03/2020 18:03

You won’t have to cancel your wedding, you might have to cancel the party.
