My wedding is in 2 weeks - I am starting to really panic it is going to get cancelled
incognitomum · 15/03/2020 17:38
I just said to dh today how worrying it must be for those getting married.
Really hope it works out for you

I’m supposed to be going to my friends wedding on the 10th of April. I’m honestly expecting it to be cancelled. I’m so sorry for you xxxxx
sausagefingersH · 15/03/2020 17:41
I haven't even let myself consider it would be cancelled until today - now that Ireland have closed all pubs for two weeks it's sent my anxiety into overdrive all the planning, organising, money - it will all be gone

We have a big Indian wedding on 4th April no idea what’s going to happen because it’ll be minimum 600 people
Wishforsnow · 15/03/2020 17:46
I think weddings are likely to get cancelled as people would be travelling from all over UK and would risk elderly relatives
Cacaca · 15/03/2020 18:01
Yes they could, but risk losing everything they have paid for. I believe wedding insurance is not 100% likely to pay out in circumstances like these.

You won’t have to cancel your wedding, you might have to cancel the party.
