Exercising outdoors?

Is it okay to go for a run outside (I am not in isolation/have any symptoms) - as long as I keep away from others? I dont understand the risks of being actually out in the fresh air right now.

I`d say yes. not in contact with others.... probably be a good thing!

If you are not self isolating why wouldn't you go outside? If you won't go outside and are keeping away from poeole, you are in isolation surely?

If you aren’t self isolating then I think it would be fine.

I may be one of the self isolating pre existing medical condition people. I expect to be able to walk dogs as normal. I don't meet anyone at 7am and don't have to touch anything.either. worst case should I meet anyone it's big fields and woodland so plenty space.

Thank you everyone - I am in a world of panic - didnt know if you could get it by breathing air near someone. I need to get out everyday for mental health - even standing in the garden if I get isolated!

I have been exercising outside for the sake of my mental health. Go straight from the school run in the morning when it's quiet and stay remotely as I can. I do pass the odd dog walker and cyclist but otherwise it's very quiet. I shall continue to do that until told otherwise and after that it will be whatever I can find on YouTube and whatever DVD's I've got. I need it to keep sane! Also bought a skipping rope so I can use that in garden if needs be.
