Self isolation and tax credits

Does anyone know what happens in regards to working tax credits if you have to self isolate?

I have to work a certain number of hours per week to qualify for my working tax credits. Obviously if I'm self isolating my hours will be reduced .

Do I need to inform tax credits if I'm self isolating?

If they cancel my tax credits I will basically have £0 to live on as I don't earn enough for sick pay either.

I get working tax credits too. If I need to self isolate I'm not going to tell them. They don't reassess until the new tax year anyway, so when you reapply if they've overpaid you they will just reduce your tax credits overall for the next tax year.
