Where are people getting hand gel from to sell on ebay & who is paying ££££ for them?

Read an article & then had a look on ebay apparently some hand gels have sold for more than a grand. Someone is selling 50 mini bottles & the bids are currently over £300, someone is selling out of date gel & 64 have already sold.

Have you bought any on there or sold it? Just seems wrong to me.

Maybe they are shop employees? I spoke to a cashier who had grabbed 5 bottles when the stock came in (though she didn't mention selling it on!)

If we were in America everyone would have millions of bath and body works hand gels, damnit! It's probably a combination of people finding the odd few in their cupboards, anticipating the demand when the news was breaking, and being lucky or in a position to get some when it has been arriving in shops.

I surprised people have so many lying about their homes. I have 2 mini bottles in the nappy bag that are out of date, it wouldn't cross my mind to sell them. Who's buying it though? The 1%?

I did see an article that amazon had stopped the accounts of people profiteering -someone is stuck with 17k bottles of the stuff......
