My 83 year old Father

I’m going to call my 83 year old Father tomorrow and ask him to come and stay with us for a few weeks.

Ours is the only place he will have overnight stays in as he has a bedroom here and very accessible bathroom.

We also live rurally so a big garden for him to get about in.

I really hope he agrees. My sisters are hoping for the same.

Thanks for letting me know

CV isn’t about a matter of weeks. It’s about realistically keeping him with you until a vaccine is delivered which could be a year, and assumes he won’t catch it from you anyway

I hope he agrees too. It will be good to have your family together. I’d love to be nearer my mum who is in residential care

Is the plan to isolate him in the room OP? Or just for him to mix?
Genuinely asking, I understand wanting to do this completely and it sounds lovely but in practice for most families who don't have a separate granny flat type area it could be putting them at more risk. Difficult choices.
