Covid
AIBU to think after a certain point we might just as well have CV posts back in the original boards as about 90% of posts will be about it anyway?
Doyoumind · 14/03/2020 21:59
Title says it all.
Isla727 · 14/03/2020 22:17
YANBU; it's ridiculous to keep moving all Covid related AIBUs to the 'Coronavirus' topic.
Pinkiespalace · 14/03/2020 22:46
I’ve seen numerous threads clearly about CV all over MN that have not been moved here
Abracad · 14/03/2020 22:55
Is there a way of blocking a whole topic. I have no interest in reading about it. There is no valuable scientific information. It’s either people freaking out or explaining why the rules don’t apply to them. Neither of which are helping me feel ok.
MaomiMak · 14/03/2020 22:56
I'm tired of this site and every news channel being about this
It's nuts.
The apocalypse isn't coming
PNomintrude · 14/03/2020 22:58
I do think they should be in the Coronavirus section, even though I'm reading everything obsessively and possibly to my own detriment, others should have the choice not to have it constantly 'in their faces'. Even if most threads are about coronavirus, there will be other topics and there will be people seeking a bit of normality.
CherieBabySpliffUp · 14/03/2020 23:00
And yet you chose to open a thread obviously about it. Then post on said thread @MaomiMak
walkingtheway · 14/03/2020 23:00
I've deleted Mumsnet on my phone because it's only about Coronavirus. I'm pretty close to doing the same on my iPad. I've honestly had enough. Real life is a million miles away from mumsnet. My mental health is as important as my physical health and it's suffering.
MaomiMak · 14/03/2020 23:02
@CherieBabySpliffUp you chose to single out me and not Isla727

YANBU it's really pointless now and unhelpful - the virus is affecting all areas of life in different ways so it would be more helpful to let pp discuss those particular issues on those particular forums, not have everything lost in a morass on one section.
Sittinonthefloor · 14/03/2020 23:16
I would really like to block the whole topic from active. Stuck at home, bored & worried - mn would be a great distraction if active wasn’t jammed up with cv threads!
Sittinonthefloor · 14/03/2020 23:20
How? I looked up how to do it and said go to desktop version - which I don’t have!
ViciousJackdaw · 15/03/2020 00:15
@MyBlueMoonbeam So the apocalypse IS coming then? When?
