Is swimming safe?!
BlueMoon1103 · 14/03/2020 20:23
I’ve booked to take my son swimming tomorrow (paid for and at a pool a way from us we don’t go to often), are swimming pools safe?! Do they chemicals in the water kill the virus? So bloody fed up with this shit now

I heard someone ask the same question on a Coronavirus phone in radio show. Apparently chlorine is one of the best killers of viruses and they were told it’s definitely safe to go swimming.

I heard that too @postalchick which made me wonder why we don't wash our hands etc in bleach and water solution.. my children have bleach baths for their eczema anyway!

If the water is chlorinated, yes.
Not all pools are chlorinated.
