Covid
Have had a cough since Christmas but I think it's getting worse, should I be self isolating?

I had a bad cold and chest infection at Christmas which left me with an annoying tickly cough ever since. I think the cough might be getting a bit worse but then again I could just be more aware of it now.
I work Monday-Friday and I can't decide whether or not I should ring in Monday and self isolate. I'm not coughing very often, maybe once or twice an hour and I don't have a temperature.

The guidance says a new, persistent cough
It sounds like yours has been around for a while?

When should I self-isolate?
People should stay at home for seven days if they have either:
A high temperature above 37.8C (100F)
A new continuous cough

Thank you, yes, I think I'm probably overthinking it, Just feel so guilty every time I have to cough.

I would get a check on a cough that’s hung around a bit - for any underlying causes (but sounds unlikely to be Covid).
