My MIL is 83 and has breathing difficulties. Before Christmas she was in Intensive care and had to be intubated as she has a virus that went to her chest. She uses an inhaler and has fully recovered but obviously she's very much in the at risk category.
A child at my DS School and his family are self isolating for 7 days, the younger brother goes to the school I work in. I haven't been told whether this is because they have a confirmed case or if its just as a precaution, I've asked the question but not yet had an answer.
I visit my MIL every Monday, my FIL passed away not long ago so I pop over to help out.
I have no idea if I should stop the visits. We are all currently fit and well but there's no way of knowing if we are contagious or not. There's also a family gathering planned next weekend, again I don't know if we should cancel.
My MIL wanted Do Not Resuscitate on her notes after her last hospital visitSad
Any advice gratefully received, what would you do in my position?
Thanks
