Fellow ocd sufferers - how are you coping?

I'm really struggling.

Anyway I just felt that rather than load up other threads with our "stuff" too much it may help to have our own thread as while I understand everyone's feeling anxious to a degree, this situation creates particular issues for those of us with ocd.

What's helping you or making you worse? Are you getting support and understanding from those around you?

I'm limiting news exposure, trying to stay calm but quite honestly the difficulties with getting cleaning products I normally use AT ALL not even in the quantities I normally buy them is causing serious anxiety for me.

I am of course willing to accept pretty much any alternative from retailers but I am worrying about how good the alternatives are compared to my preferred very much chemical brands.

I'm being sent all natural products which are supposedly antibacterial but can they be as effective as my beloved better known brands?

What alternatives can provide the same efficacy?

I'm already at the point of having to decant other liquid soaps into hand wash pumps (I know some will suggest bars but I really can't cope with using bars. I'm hoping those who can cope with bars will buy and use those instead)

I'm changing routines so I'm limiting how much I use and keeping anxieties in check but that is likely to create future difficulties as the chores pile up.
