I’ve said no. Friend has said yes.
Apparently only 12 confirmed cases (due to high Temp’s..?)
I’ve read a lot that is saying they are under reporting due to lack of testing...
4 families (potentially) going, with toddlers.

Glad you got your money back.

Joebloggsss · 19/07/2020 20:21
@Joebloggsss didn’t go. Thankfully the others agreed that it would be stupid but we didn’t cancel in the hope that the holiday company would cancel so that we’d get a refund. And they did... the night before :)
Thanks for the reply. Glad you got a refund.

I’m tempted to book early December I’ve seen a great deal! And prices shoot up after that.

DancingInDespair · 19/07/2020 20:29

No. According to world o meter, they have had 7k+ cases in 24 hours.
Much of the country is poor, and cases are likely to be under reported.
I wouldn't fancy being stuck that far away from home if I got sick, to be honest.

It takes 10 seconds to get:

Mexico all cases: 338,913 daily new cases+7,615 total deaths 38,888 daily new deaths +578

But hey, it's everyone's own life. During a pandemic a holiday is very needed obviously.

(why the fuck can't ppl sit on their arses????)

HairyFloppins · 19/07/2020 21:28

Read the full thread they didn't go. This thread is from March. People can do want they want.

The thread is from march, but the person that restarted it in July asked about what people thought of going now/ in the future.

It’s really non of your business. In life there is a risk of everything. You don’t know why I may need to travel do you? I also worked on the front line through out the whole of the pandemic..... on a Covid ward it’s really non of your business.
