Jacinda has just announced that everyone coming in to NZ from overseas must self-isolate for 2 weeks. Seems sensible. My trip to Sydney next week is off - I don't want to risk bringing anything back to The Old Guy, who has COPD and diabetes. Living remotely and being largely self-sufficient, we're pulling up the drawbridge and retiring to our garden, books, DIY and internet. No Netflix-we're too remote for such luxuries. Hoping Jacinda's measures will slow the spread.

I'm in Aus and was just thinking yesterday what's happening with NZ as I hadn't seen you guys in the news.

Damn. I was planning to send DD to NZ to wait out A level results. I've been encouraging her to get infected now so she's over it by the time she sits exams and won't be in danger of infecting her Kiwi granny. Plus I reckon the plane fares will have dropped through the floor by July

Glad to hear your daughter is stocked, we managed to get some today which was just pure luck that dh was looking in Aldi for pink gin and spoted toilet rolls.
