I hate it too, it's naff & provides succour to the drama-lovers who are getting off on this whole crisis .... oooooh we're on lockdown, did you hear they're on lockdown, when will we get to go on lockdown, I want to be on lockdown, LOCK IT DOWN now! Ffs it's not a fucking movie.

It's ridiculous but the drama llamas love it. I'm with you. Stupid phrase that has no proper meaning because of the way it's being chucked around.
