Hi,

My partners mother came from abroad to visit. She is virtually frail and her kidneys don’t work efficiently and she has to have them cleaned and cleared every 4 hours by her accompanying daughter. She is 72 and she wanted to come here to say her last goodbye to one of her children who hasn’t been able to visit her due to paper issues and because she feels she is on the verge of dying.

She has been here for 2 weeks and this Coronavirus thing has become a major worry. If she catches it she dies. She isn’t entitled to any services here as she isn’t from here and the idea now is to send her back ASAP.. but she is frail and the airport seems infested and her country will probably not take her back seeing the situation in England.

I’m not so sure how she is to be protected? Can we contact NHs 111 ask them how to protect her as a vulnerable person ? Or would that be burdening then ?

Just isolate her that's the only way to protect her. Has she travel insurance? What is the medical cover?
