University year abroad in Spain

I'm currently on my year abroad in Spain as I study French and Spanish at a UK university. I'm not sure what to do - return home? I'm in a major city in Spain but despite the panic buying in the supermarkets, life seems to be continuing pretty much as normal. I love my placement and only have five weeks left (today I'm working from home as the office is shut), but I'm slightly anxious that they'll close the borders and I'll be trapped here indefinitely without my family. My friends from university are of varying opinions; some are going home and some say that they're going to stay. Help!

I would go home to be with family. They may close the borders and this could go on for months.

If you are young and fit the likelihood is that you will not become seriously ill if you get the virus.

The EU are not planning on closing borders. They have said they do not believe it works as a tactic.

Even if they do, UK will allow its citizens to return home
