I had stuck a post up last night about if I was coming down with cv or was just cattarh/normal cold

Was thinking I'll be ok as all I've noticed is a need to clear throat and sometimes when I wake up in morning a mucus sounding cough (sometimes do bring up a bit) then I'm fine till late at night.
I was all for just letting it go and not worry but after reading a post on here someone said that a few get sputum ie mucus

Should I be now worried or is it just a cattarh based cold type thing?
And is cv just a dry not chesty cough with no mucas/phlegm fever and breathlessness?

Just asking a simple question that many folk are asking themselves have I or not? We all must be thinking the same thing from time to time

Honestly, how will any of us know?

ohmysoul · 13/03/2020 16:23

No one can know unless they're tested and with your symptoms (or lack thereof) it's unlikely that would happen.

I don't see anything wrong with asking, understandably we all have questions!

From what I've read it doesn't sound like CV but it might be worth checking the 111 site to see if it matches up with any of the symptoms. I believe there's a survey thing for it now to help you self diagnose.

Just so confusing over the whole symptoms side I know dry cough fever and difficulty in breathing but theres other articles that say runny nose congestion etc

Still have the odd tendency to clear throat and my DD had a stuffy nose that's all no fevers coughs difficulty in breathing
Things we have all point to a normal cold etc

Done the nhs thing but cause we have no cough etc it says were ok
