Nursery informed parents this morning any new cough means child should isolate for 7 days. I rang them and explained LO has a cold and this includes a cough no fever no other symptoms just a runny nose and cough. They want me to ring 111 for advice however I feel like this is such a waste for the NHS and understand they're under immense pressure as it is but nursery won't allow LO back until I've got advice from 111 or do a precautionary 7 day isolation.
What would you do in this situation? Just take the 7 days off as a precaution? Ring an already stretched 111 service?
