I've always been lazy with washing fruit and salad items but have been doing this now.
I also rugby tackle to the floor anyone who attempts to cross my threshold before washing their hands, then once they've done that I use a clean cloth with Dettol on to wipe down door handles, light switches and bathroom fixtures and fittings they may have touched.
apart from this probably OTT measure, that's me for now. As I type this I'm watching a couple of birds peck about in my garden, I'm finding nature a very calming and peaceful distraction these days.

I used to do this when I had PND and was quite unwell. I refuse to start down that road again.
