By phone only apparently.
What if you have an issue unrelated to corona? Hmm

Well I guess you talk through your issues over the phone and they can either deal with it from there or arrange for you to be seen. I have had many phone consultations with my GP and been prescribed medication with no need to be seen.

For ages my GP has done compulsory phone consultations before you can get a face to face appointment. Half the time they don't need to see you and can deal with you over the phone.

I assume there will be cases where they will see you though? What if you had a skin thing that needed looking at for example.

Skin thing, knee problem, smear test... just other stuff.

By doing phone consultations and reducing footfall in the practice, we are minimising unnecessary contact for other patients and staff. People who need examination or essential tests will still get seen.

But your six monthly routine blood pressure check, or fungal toenail, for example, will wait for a bit.
