What is happening to expand hospital capacity where you are?

What measures are being rolled out there? Are elective surgeries being cancelled? Is the UK buying more ventilators?

Here in NYC, they're making ready to juggle patients between upstate and downstate (upstate has more space) and looking for public buildings to use as makeshift hospitals. Liaising with the medical schools and paramedics, retired medics and nurses, trying to get more hands on deck. I am nervous about ventilators etc.

I miss London and worry both cities are going to be on their knees soon Sad

Still interested as to what is happening with this - what is happening in your area/ country, wherever you are?

Anyone know?
