2 suspected cases at DH's office...

WWYD, DH is going to work from home now. But we have school & nursery age children. The cases at his work are suspected, not yet confirmed. Should DH be self isolating 'just incase'... if it's too late and he's caught it but no symptoms yet, is it possible that my kids also have it and will take it with them to school... Would you isolate your whole family over this, or wait till the suspected cases are confirmed? I'm not an alarmist or panicker, just wondering.

TIA

We have one suspected case in our office today (not UK). Taken away by ambulance and whole floor sent home and "invited" to work from home for 14 days.

No idea about what the families should do but isn't confirmation fairly quick? We got told of a dad at the school testing positive at 6pm Friday. By lunchtime Saturday we had it confirmed that the rest of the family were negative.

We had this. Fortunately the colleagues tested negative. I contacted DfE who basically said "ask the school ".

It's only come out this afternoon that they're 'suspected' so if it's meant to be a quick diagnosis then maybe they'll know by tomorrow morning or even later today.

The other reason I'm asking is DH is feeling a bit under the weather, but he is really run down. He has none of the symptoms of the virus, but it gets your mind going a bit!
