Getting married next week

I live in Scotland and am due to get married next Friday. We've been planning this for 18 months and I am now in a total panic if it will still go ahead. I have no idea what we would do if it was as we would be thousands out of pocket.

We have less than a 100 people coming and all our friends have indicated they will come but I am just worried as situation seems to be changing everyday.

1 week ... I think you're just in time. It doesnt seem that mass gatherings will be banned in England in the next 7 days and we don't yet have mass infection.

Personally, I would proceed, but would also let guests know they could withdraw at any time in the next 7 days, no harm no foul.

Do you have wedding insurance? It might not directly cover this type of thing, but if venues and suppliers become unavailable, it should cover that.

No we don't have wedding insurance which in hindsight we should have got. I am hoping that it doesn't come to cancelling and the venue are still confident it will go ahead.
