Is there a petition?

Or can someone start one?

From reading around, We are around 2- 6 weeks away from the start of peak - it may be a slow incline but we know its coming. We can literally stop this in its tracks now with modelling italys shutdown and putting conditions on travel.

Does a petition exist or can someone make one? To say the will of the UK people is to stop this in its tracks?

A petition will make no difference at all. The government should be taking advice from experts, not people who have spent a lot of time on google.

Give me one example where one of those petitions has actually changed policy..... 😀

If we close everything down now, we'd only delay the peak potentially pushing it into the next flu season. We just need to try and flatten the peak as much as possible so the NHS can cope with the numbers of people likely to be needing intensive care.

FredaFox · 12/03/2020 07:53

If you are that bothered why haven’t you started one??
It’s pointless, it won’t do anything, the government will be speaking to experts you have to trust the process

If you want a petition why would you wait for someone else to start it, we aren't your mother, knock yourself out and get on with it.

@SorrelBlackbeak

How do we flatten the peak?
