If you haven’t knowingly been in contact with a carrier, or travelled outside the UK in the last couple of weeks then they NHS are not testing for corona.
Whilst I understand there are reasons for this, we really simply don’t how many people are infected with it if the NHS is not testing people with symptoms unless they’re already hospitalised, have been in contact with a known carrier or travelled abroad.
