How long will this tinned panic buying last, do you think?

So annoying all these panic buyers. I'm trying to do the weekly/fortnightly shop of tins and there's bugger all there! I really don't have time (I work and have other stuff to do) to float round half a dozen shops and pick what they have.

I do this shop (and have done for years and years) for an elderly lady who is in a wheelchair - she can get to the shops via a special bus service once a week but it is easier if I do all her tinned stuff as it is heavy and her time shopping is limited, she also has to visit the bank, the PO etc.

I'm most worried about loo roll as she has had a prolapse failed repair with mesh and consequently continence issues, and HAS to have quilted paper (needs to be thickish as she struggles to handle the thin stuff), and uses 1 or 2 packs a WEEK. Been in 2 supermarkets and 3 corner shops but no quilted left. Luckily there are others in her help team who have found some for her this week.

When will everybody's cupboards be full do you think so they have to revert to buying a week's worth at a time instead of clearing the shops?

Mean to add she has to have tins of veg etc as she cannot peel a potato., she has a wall mounted electric tin opener so tins are easier, I have grabbed some frozen veg but she has a little freezer.
