Do I need to self isolate?

My DS is currently in self isolation and waiting to be tested on the advice of 111. I am currently off work looking after him but I obviously cannot do this indefinitely. As he is self isolating and I’ve not got any symptoms does that mean I can go to work?

You need to call 111 and ask them and check where you stand with work.

Unless he has been properly isolated away from you, then you need to stay in until he has been tested surely ? Otherwise you could be spreading it to all at your place of work ?

You need to stay home and self-isolate.

Nicecupofcoco · 10/03/2020 09:06

I would do, until you have ds test results back. If he does have it, chances are you may come down with it too, so perhaps better to be safe until you know either way.

Surely you're in contact with your DS so yes you need to self isolate.

That’s what I thought Sir, I’ve just managed to get through to 101 and they said I can go to work Confused. I’m torn as I know my work are struggling without me but I do not want to be a carrier. I’m sure it’s not corona but obviously cannot be 100%.
