Ludicrous panic buying!

My DD, working full-time, pregnant and with a 2-yo, living in Sydney, is unable to buy loo roll anywhere. I'm going to visit next week -flying internationally-and have to take a bagful with me-desperate measures! The scenes of fighting in the paper aisle are totally bewildering. Just why??

No idea - the famous loaded to overflowing trolley of loo roll was taken in Australia, wasn't it?

How is the outbreak in the Southern Hemisphere, btw.

We keep hearing that the aim is to push the peak into the summer, when they hope it will be less readily transmissible (many respiratory bugs fade back when it's warm). So as it's summer down under, is it's rate of spread reassuringly low?

So they can be prepared when dysentery hits.
