Soooo, my hands are now feeling like sandpaper but are cleaner than ever BUT...... I’m drying them on towels that ordinarily would be washed maybe every week or two, should I start washing daily or every wash (that ain’t gong to happen)........

If your hands are properly clean, it shouldn't matter, I think. If they're not, you'd need to be washing towels after every use, which obviously isn't feasible.

Hand cream. Roughened dried out skin makes handwashing less effective. Look after your skin.

There's a special topic for panicking about bloody Coronavirus.

I'm a proper MNer, so I obviously wash all towels and bedding 7 times a day, whether they need it or not.

If you don't do the same, you're a slut who deserves to get ill, and your DH is right to cheat on you, and your kids will grow up to hate you, and other parents will judge you on the playground

For the sink that you use when you get home from work/shops/being outside then you should really wash it daily because there's a chance the viral particles that you missed on your hands might have transferred to the towel.

For towels that you use in other places (e.g. kitchen) then every other day is probably okay but daily is best (or kitchen roll).

I hope you're using a soap soap. Your soap must be cleaned properly with a proper soap soap!
