Using public transport (London)

I take 2 tubes and 1 train to work 5 days a week and have noticed a reduced number of commuters. So, I'm supposed to be seeing a friend next weekend, and taking tube from my station all the way to hers (about 30 stops). Hubby has said he would prefer that I don't make any unnecessary public transport travel at the moment, as a precaution. Is he being OTT or speaking sense? (I try to go in fairly empty carriages and stand in front of the doors rather than, when possible, in front of people and so far haven't been near anyone coughing or sneezing. )

Would you go or stay home?

well today I've taken the overground and the tube... don't routinely travel into London.

He’s being OTT. Wash your hands when you get to your friend’s house. (Am also a London commuter).
