If someone in your workplace tested positive for corona virus would everyone that works there have to self isolate?

You would hope so!

I'm just wondering if anyone knows the actual rules. Would it be close contact, same room, same building etc?

Found this which gives some info

Do I need to self-isolate?
You may need to isolate yourself if you have travelled to an affected area, or have been in close contact with an infected person.
Spending 15 minutes within 2m (6ft) of someone with the virus, or having face-to-face contact, is judged to be a significant risk.

I would expect the work place to take some measures. If not, the work place is simply being unbelievable. You don't know who is exposed. But you know someone was tested positive. What if someone spending 14 minutes with them within 1m99cm? Are they safe?
