We are supposed to be going next month with elderly relatives, they are having second thoughts and it's put doubts in my mind.
picklebarrelfalls · 06/03/2020 17:50
Well, that steamy, humid pool & changing rooms could potentially be a cesspit of germs 🤷🏽♀️ if you get in there with a CV carrier, you might as well just lick their face and have done with it.
PurpleFlower1983 · 06/03/2020 18:53
We’ve just booked for CP in 3 weeks time but I don’t think I would take an elderly relative to be honest.
nomorespaghetti · 06/03/2020 20:19
Last time we went there we all got norovirus! I love it, but it’s an absolutely full of germs. With elderly relatives I’d be cautious.
GulliBelle · 06/03/2020 20:46
Talking of nasty viruses, I hear that Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, or whatever he is calling him self this week, got arrested at Centreparcs for being a violent prick.

He was arrested for punching a man who sexually assaulted his 8 year old daughter . fair play I reckon tbh
MajesticWhine · 06/03/2020 22:56
We've booked for July. I wouldn't go with elderly relatives as things are a the moment.
kazza446 · 06/03/2020 23:28
Last time I went to centerparcs 7 of the 9 of my party came down with norovirus. Cp were diabolical. I’m not wholly convinced they have good infection control procedures!
excitedmumtobe87 · 06/03/2020 23:48
That’s Yaxley Lenin’s lie. YL was being drunk and obnoxious whilst in charge of his daughter, the man asked him to calm it down a little. YL shouted lies about him being a paedophile and got aggro violent. Every single independent witness says this. Don’t repeat that scum bag’s lies.
excitedmumtobe87 · 06/03/2020 23:51
And in reply to the OP I think I’d probably cancel it or go and avoid the pools and spas etc, practise high levels of cleanliness and hygiene while there
Chouxalacreme · 07/03/2020 00:07
I didn’t think his daughter was lying in the video ? Anyway moot point as I doubt he will be back there !
Not considered about cp we were hoping to go there for a break
GulliBelle · 07/03/2020 00:27
Of course he was telling the truth, it is not like he has multiple convictions for violence and dishonesty.
OrangeSamphire · 07/03/2020 08:18
We are supposed to be going next month. But my youngest is disabled and is severely affected by any respiratory illness he gets. He physically can’t cough up gunk in his lungs. So if he gets this, I’m very fearful for him.
DH thinks it will be fine. But I am insistent we are not going.
excitedmumtobe87 · 07/03/2020 10:56
His daughter was so blatantly and obviously being led by his questioning!! That makes her an unreliable witness if he did want to pursue a case. So he knows it’s a lie or he wouldn’t have jeopardised a case. I tend to believe reliable witnesses not minors under pressure and a known liar and criminal.

Longford has closed and will give full refunds.
All other venues open and no refunds, just allow you to rebook to an alternative, presumably more expensive, date.
