Hi all

How do you clean your phone to kill viruses? Is there a way? Confused

OP posts:

Use a wipe with 60% alcohol I guess (they have them now at my gym). But unless you are sharing your phone I wouldn't think it an issue.

Mysocalledlifexx · 05/03/2020 22:58

I use milton wipes they are £2 at tesco.

Redshoeblueshoe · 05/03/2020 23:01

I'm the only person who uses my phone.
What is the actual issue ?

wafflyversatile · 05/03/2020 23:03

I just washed mine with a wet kitchen towel with washing up liquid.

Daffodil21 · 05/03/2020 23:05

Just use the dettol wipes/kitchen roll with dettol spray??

ChardonnaysPetDragon · 05/03/2020 23:05

The issue is that we touch things outside that might have the virus on them and then touch the phone, so they virus spreads.

Muchtoomuchtodo · 05/03/2020 23:07

We’ve got a spray that claims to be effective against most viruses.

We all use this spray on some kitchen towel to clean our phones after work / school each day and then wash our hands in hot, soapy water.

The kids think I’m mad but are going along with it for now.....

I use anti bac, alcohol based lens cleaner wipes (for my glasses)
Got some strong ones from Dunhelm yesterday.

AnotherMurkyDay · 05/03/2020 23:14

I wipe mine with a Milton wipe. I keep them in my bag all the time for dummies and things and they don't seem to leave the screen smeary like anti bac wipes (though I do still use them sometimes too)
