I own a nursery. I was told today that no nursery insurance company will be insuring against coronavirus. If the government orders the closure of schools and nurseries, the insurance companies will not pay out apparently, and this is across the board.
If this happens, I won’t be able to pay my staff, not even SSP. I would imagine that this will be case for every school and nursery in the UK, with the exception of state owned settings. Everyone will go bust.
Is anyone else in this position? I have contacted my local MP, but silence. Don’t know where to turn.
