I know i Know, not another thread...

But reading through most of these threads it seems like emotions are starting to run a bit high, and arguments are happening so can we have a bit of a positive things we can do, not to just look out for ourselves or direct family, but Society as a whole and Front Line Staff.

Things i have been thinking about are

Adding a couple of extra things in the food bank - if people on 0 hours are facing the possibility of having hours cut or not needing to manage kids out of School, then that will have a knock on effect on foodbanks.

Checking on elderly Neighbours, picking up extra shopping such as tins or heavy things if they are worried . Maybe getting their phone number so you can call and check they are ok if things do get worse.

I have a friend who is a single parent and is a nurse. Have already offered to help with child care / Share School runs in possible if it would help her if she has to do extra hours.

So if you have any ideas, or you are a front line worker is there any suggestions you can make that would make your life easier if this gets as bad as some think it may will.? Anything big or small, even if its just a pack of biscuits and tea bags for the break room.

I guess im just kind of aware reading through these threads that this is going to show a divide of people who can work from home/pull kids out of School quite easily, and of course they should be supported in that choice, but is there anything we can do to support front line staff?
