Do they home test you now?

Worried about DH, he is on immunosuppressants for a medical condition, we were in France over half term (there is a cluster in Annecy now apparently) not in Italy though but near the border. On 111 online it only picks up on people who have been to Italy though.

he had the flu jab, due to his condition, has all the symptoms but yes could be flu I guess. Not sure.

Any advice welcome. I might try and call his specialist nurse today.

I was tested last week and had to go up to the hospital. I was tested as had symptoms and although staying in France had been over the border into Italy.
I guess the thing is if you would be worried about his health anyway with these symptoms given his underlying condition then you should speak to his nurse - regardless of whether you think it is coronavirus or not. Hope he feels better soon

OK, we drove across border (Geneva) but Switzerland, not Italy, many many British families all travelling on the same day though from Italy / France - services all heaving, does make me think...as would also be two weeks ago. But not actually Italy.

Where I am a new protocol has been put in place from today where if you ring 111 and they decide you make criteria for testing two infectious diseases nurses come out (fully suited up) and test you at home.
111 are receiving up to 40 calls a day just in my city.

We have drive through testing now in my county- which involves coning off a few parking spaces and a nurse will come to the car with swabs for testing.
