Conflict in the Middle East

INTERNATIONAL JOURNALISTS MUST BE ALLOWED INTO GAZA IMMEDIATELY!!

Does anyone see an issue with that statement which has been parroted for 3 years and is the immediate rebuttal to considering whether Hamas is telling the truth?

What do you we think would happen if international journalists were given 'free, unfettered, unsupervised' access to Gaza and the Palestinians trapped there?

Do we think journalists would able to report on Palestinians who are not in support of Hamas, want to leave and not be used as human sacrifices?

What do we think would happen to those Palestinians after their stories have been beamed around the world?

It suits Hamas more than it does Israel that international journalists are not able to access Gaza.

They'd also see the new restaurants and all the well fed Palestinians!

I totally understand Israel's reasoning and do not believe it's because Israel wants to hide anything, it's in fact the opposite.

Does anyone else get this logic?

It's never happened or been questioned in any other conflict.

No. Israel occupy 70% of Gaza. They could give journalists and independent observers free reign over that 70% let them watch them bulldozing peoples homes, let them investigate bombed out hospitals and schools etc. There is no Hamas there, no one would be used as a 'human sacrifice' etc etc. They aren't though. Why do you think that is?

World Food Programme. Or do you know better?

More than nine months into an extremely fragile ceasefire, 1.4 million people – two thirds of the population – are still facing crisis or worse levels of acute food insecurity.

Food security has improved modestly. However, if current levels of humanitarian food assistance are not sustained, up to 90 percent of the population could face high levels of acute food insecurity by the end of the year.
Most people in Gaza have been displaced multiple times and are living amid insecurity, damaged homes, poor sanitation and limited access to safe water. With 80 percent of people still unemployed, many cannot afford the fresh vegetables, fruit, protein and cooking fuel they need for a healthy diet.

So go you. FFS.

Logic??
The irony.

If Israel thought for one second journalists would support them they would flood the place with them.
