Another baby needlessly killed

Felt compelled to post.

A family driving in their car. A trigger happy IDF soldier. Single shot. 7 month old Palestinian baby dies. One person at a time. One baby at a time. One family at a time. Driven out. Killed. Until no more Palestinians in the West Bank? Ethnic cleansing?

From river to sea, Israelis will be free? Actions speak louder than words. Yet people fear the words more.

Of course the IDF will investigate but why does this not change the behaviour of their soldiers?

Putting a gun in a conscripted 18 year olds hand who has been taught to hate is clearly a strategy that has these consequences.

That’s awful. Poor family. How do you remain in a place where your baby was killed by a state that wants you gone, whose laws don’t seem to protect you? Yet to leave means you have given in. Which is what they want.

Really feel for the innocent Palestinians. Really does make you think about all those in the Middle East whose safety is threatened.

Stop making claims that aren't true. Many care. The power is with the US, the Israeli government and with Hamas the leaders in Gaza. There are hundreds and hundreds of threads discussing Gaza, there are people who centre Gaza as the most important and campaign for Gaza. Just because others don't, doesn't mean they don't care. This constant attempt to dump on others isn't of use, doesn't help Gazans, and doesn't attract posters to discussing Gaza.

You make lots of claims that are not backed up with facts.

It's a very talked about topic. No one is silenced, but when posters make random claims, it's important they are challenged. Facts do matter. Perhaps you might consider examples of proof when you make sweeping claims, a bit like that required in academic writing. Carries more weight then.

I agree. I’m sick of the minimising, the deflection, the “look over there instead” whataboutery, the constant denial of facts, the accusations of lying (already on this thread). It’s depressing and exhausting, but then I remember how much more depressing and exhausting it is for Palestinians themselves, and that’s why we need to keep highlighting the horror that is happening to them.

You said this in the plural. Who are all the others? This one appears to be a fair cop for overt hate speech. IME they never suspend doctors lightly for anything, so I’d like more info about the other doctors you have referred to.

To be honest I don’t understand why we are all fighting on this thread about a baby being killed. A baby was killed. Prove this, prove that becomes very tiresome and exhausting. A baby was killed. Unnecessarily. End of.

Bottom line is some people would rather start an argument than admit that Israel killed yet another child for no reason. Sigh…. 😞

When someone makes a very long list of claims and doesn't offer evidence, it will be asked for. Separate matter altogether. Perhaps poster shouldn't make a long list of unproven claims on a thread about a innocent baby that has been killed. Not the place to dump various claims. However asking for evidence is normal.

Not sure how anyone might think investigation of a doctor for posting items supporting a terrorist organisation, violence etc is wrong. Glad the doctor was investigated. He's supposed to treat patients not repost comments supporting Hamas and terrorism.

The doctor involved is female! You don't seem to know much about this if you don't even know the sex of the doctor involved.
Meanwhile, Eastland Stavely who fought for the IDF and commited murder (although, according to him, he didn't kill enough babies) is still able to practice. He own surgery have removed him but he is able to work remotely.

I read the report linked. It doesn't matter if a male or female post, supporting Hamas or terrorism, it needs and was investigated, correctly so. Dont you think it should have been? Pretty simple really. Not sure how that is problematic to anyone 🤔
