And accepted?

“Thousands of Israeli nationalists marched on Thursday through the Muslim quarter of Jerusalem's walled Old City under heavy security, in an annual event marking Israel's capture of the city's east in a war nearly six decades ago.
Palestinian residents, many of whom barricaded themselves inside their homes in the Old City, view the Jerusalem Day parade as a provocation to undermine their ties to the city.
As Israelis marched through the Muslim quarter that is home to thousands of Palestinians, some of the demonstrators, mostly young men, chanted "May your villages burn" and "Death to Arabs" while waving Israeli flags.”

The marchers are extremists aren't they - who is actively encouraging it?

According to your source (Reuters via Apple news) Israel deployed thousands of police officers some in riot gear to keep order in Jerusalem's Old City.

You are right. They are extremists. They get bussed in to attend these hate fueled marches. The only thing the riot police did was remove the peace activists trying to protect palestinians. Nothing to stop the chants. Lovely.

I suppose it's hard to stop racist chants, the UK police have the same problem with From the River to the Sea, Globalise the Intifada and Death to the IDF.

I don't think that's all the police did though, they arrested 13 people according to Al Jazeera, including both Jews and Palestinians. And they separated groups throwing chairs at each other, according to this Guardian article:

Most Palestinians in the Muslim quarter of the Old City had shuttered their shops and gone home before the march began, but members of far-right radical Jewish groups who had entered scuffled with Palestinian residents still there, with both sides throwing chairs at each other, until separated by police who entered the city that afternoon in force.

May your villages burn and Death to Arabs are two of the most popular chants. I wonder how in fear Palestinians feel about hearing these chants considering the amount of villages they have taken over and Palestinians they have murdered. So not idle threats at all
It is a public holiday and recognised by the Knesset.

Don’t think they are bussed in to attend. Personal choice.

Do you think the Israeli extremists don’t also want to march? They are forced to?

they are running busses from Manchester to london for £10 to attend tomorrows pro pally march.

Not sure how much for the Bradford to london bus.

Leeds & Wakefield busses to london for marchers.

nothing unique about “bussing protesters in” aka protesters choosing to catch a coach to get to a protest they want to attend.

Yeah prob with these marches in our country

Israelis generally pay to attend the annual Flag Day march (Jerusalem Day), with public transportation requiring standard payment via Rav-Kav or apps, though the event itself is promoted and subsidized by the Jerusalem municipality. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Same, same.

But yes, there are many, many problems in the UK. Divisive racism, and anti other religions being one of the major ones. Don’t think they UK is going to come together in any Kum by yah situation any time soon.
