I asked it if the best solution was to give the 2 million Palestinians (full population of Palestinians is around that number i think) great jobs in a UAE city of their choosing with special passports and new homes.

Easier than trying to do that for the 10 million Israelite Jews ?

ChatGPT said it was too expensive for the UN to do that and also that some/most Palestinians would find it offensive.

I also went far back as I could trying to determine who had more historical right to the land, and as far as I could see, both do at this point, 1000s of years on.

As PPs have said, ChatGPT cannot think for itself. It can only regurgitate a précis of the huge amounts of data it has been trained on. That's why it can't come up with a solution.

The problem is neither side actually wants what you and I would see as a solution.
Many Palestinians want no Jewish state at all on what is seen as historically Muslim lands.
Current Israeli leadership doesnt want Palestinians to have a state at all because they're in thrall to the Jewish arsecheek of the religious nutjob arse.

I just used the predictive text on my phone to find out the meaning of life. All I had to do was type "The meaning of life is ...." and then use one of its suggestions for each of the next few words.

Apparently, the meaning of life is "for me to use an easy way of doing a punch."

(I'm actually thinking now that Trump's and Netanyahu's phones told them the same thing. It would explain a lot.)

Well, it’s not quite that simple is it. Jewish people originated in that land and were first displaced by the first exile (the Babylonian Exile) 2,500 years ago. It was well over another 1,000 years before Islam entered the Levant. So I’d say Jews, historically, have a better claim than Muslims to the area. A large part of the Islamic doctrine was specifically made up to gain access to the Eastern Mediterranean as part of the trade route between East and West (I believe Mohammed was a Merchant in trade caravans and would specifically have seen the value in this).

Best option is to repeatedly educate people that religion is a load of made up crap designed to control and exploit situations and people. Islam was designed as a tool of conquest (just like the version of Christianity we largely think of). It’s possible Mohammed thought he saw and chatted to Gabriel in a dark damp cave likely so damp it might have induced hallucinations in the fasting chap.
