Poor babies pulled out of the rubble. So sad to see.

The way that poor child is roughly handled and then displayed for the cameras is deeply disturbing. I know I wouldn't want my child used in this way. I hope whoever posted that got the grieving parents permission.

Poinlessss · 21/11/2025 19:29

Yes that’s the issue not the bastards who bombed them in the first place.

Yes that’s the issue not the bastards who bombed them in the first place.

The issue is that Hamas sees these children as necessary sacrifices and placed them in harms way. They literally invited these bastards in. Then when Israel killed these children, their bodies were staged and posed and photographed to be used as propaganda, in order to further the hatred that fuels this conflict. Then you posted that photo on here in order to make a point about how much you hate Israel.
The children have been fucked over by absolutely everybody, and you posted a photo of their remains to make a point.
It disgusts me. It disgusts me that Hamas uses its own in this way, that both Israel and Hamas see these children's deaths as acceptable. And it disgusts me when people use children's suffering to further their ideological viewpoint. Children should not be used in this way.
I think you should take the photo down. It adds nothing. The children are being roughly handled and used.

thingsarelookingupfornigel · 21/11/2025 20:38

To be honest I find the faux sympathy even more sickening than anything else.

No people need to see what is still going on. I saw the video of these babies being pulled out of the rubble. I doubt these will be the last children that Israel kill. The world needs to know and this needs to be documented.

Pure exploitation like the photos of extremely sick children that were used to supposedly prove widespread famine in Gaza.

Absolutely.

Not all sites are run by former members of Israeli propaganda units

”Executive Director Gil Hoffmanis a longtime journalist and former reservist with the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) Spokesperson's Unit. (In 2015, Israeli publication Haaretz dubbed the unit “the Biggest PR Firm in the Middle East” for its power in directing the press.)”

That’s quite a breathtaking example of pot, kettle, black.

Accusing others of of bias and propaganda while calling the IDF, the ‘IOF’.

Everexpanding · 21/11/2025 23:28

Does not change the fact of his links and former occupation though

The vast majority of Israelis have served in the IDF. Israel has mandatory service and reservists for obvious reason. Most modern armies have PR units. The Director is a long time journalist as you posted.

Honest Reporting was created to challenge journalistic anti Israel bias. They make that quite clear in their bio.

There’s a big difference in challenging propaganda and creating it. I imagine they do hold some power in correcting the press as that is their mission and they’d been doing it successfully for many years. That’s not the same as directing it though.

The whole point of HR is correcting information already published by other media outlets, not creating media stories as propaganda. Again there is a big difference.

Some examples below:

Another pot, kettle, black moment for quoting Haaretz which is well known as a far leftist, liberal, low circulation newspaper, fiercely critical of the current Israeli government. The views of its publisher are certainly not unbiased.

Aid to Gaza: Separating Fact From Fiction | HonestReporting

The media and certain aid organizations claim that Israel is barring the majority of aid from entering Gaza. But is this true?

You find my 'faux sympathy' more sickening than the death of children, the rough treatment of children's remains, the use of children's remains for propaganda?
I dont believe it. No one is that full of hate.

Dont be ridiculous. The whole world knows Israel is killing children. Your photo adds nothing.
You might be cool with the exploitation of these children's remains, but I'm not.

Its the unpalatable truth that Israel has long decided civilian death is a price they are willing to pay to get at Hamas. Hamas knows this and still doesnt separate itself from civilians. Every single member of Hamas knows theres a target on his back. What's he doing in a tent with women and children? Hamas should just give themselves up and let the coalition take over. Its going to happen anyway so why not just let it happen without more bloodshed?

No one is supposed to have a target on their back during a ceasefire. Trump’s plan promised safe passage to any Hamas who lay down their arms and went to the civilian safe zones. A former Hamas combatant is allowed to be in a tent with his family and be safe from bombs during a ceasefire.

I wouldn’t necessarily be a fan of posting pictures of dead children but I can understand why the poster felt the need to, it often feels on here that the posters talking about children as acceptable collateral, damage, excusing the deaths of 20,000 children with but Hamas made Israel do it, cannot actually be comprehending the revolting reality of the situation.
is it just that you do not want to be confronted with the reality of what you are on here supporting?

I don’t see it as much of a ceasefire to be honest. 300+ dead since it was called, and still no where near enough aid being allowed in. Displaced Palestinians, lines being moved, the bombings of Lebanon, the land grab in Syria. Israel is just carrying on regardless.

The IDF would be being a lot more aggressive were it not for the ceasefire. You can see that in the way the number of fatalities has significantly decreased since the ceasefire. What the IDF seem to be doing at the moment is mainly reacting whenever Hamas attack them.

Earlier today for example, a Palestinian gunman opened fire on troops in the Strip. It was in response to this (according to an Israeli official) that there was an Israeli airstrike.

According to the same official, the target of the IDF attack was Alaa Hadidi, chief of supply in Hamas’s weapons manufacturing headquarters. He has apparently been killed but not only him; Palestinian media reports that five were killed in the strike.

The Times of Israel has learnt that Israel updated the US-led oversight mechanism before the strike against the Hamas commander was carried out.

So it seems that the retaliatory strikes are being done with US approval.

As for humanitarian aid, the UN World Food Programme acknowledges that things are better than before the ceasefire, though much more aid still needed.

“Things are better than before the ceasefire, but we have a long way to go. Sustained support is an important endeavour to help families rebuild their health, their nutrition, and their lives,” WFP spokesperson Martin Penner tells reporters in Geneva via video link from the Gaza Strip.

Hundreds of thousands of people remain in urgent need of food assistance, according to the WFP. In August, a global food monitor said at least half a million people were experiencing famine in parts of the coastal enclave, though analysts say updated data shows the claim was likely inflated.

It is amazing to think anyone truly believes that an evil, deranged, savage, extremist terrorist entity like Hamas (and the other assorted terrorist groups in Gaza) are fully abiding by the ceasefire, playing by the rules, and would definitely NOT continue to attack, or try to, the IDF when they have the chance.

On the flip side, they are adamant the IDF are definitely not abiding by the ceasefire.

It’s insane.

It's like a parallel universe where people have zero cynicism about anything Hamas say but all the cynicism in the world when the person speaking is Israeli.

It's not like I think the IDF or Israeli government would never lie, but I think they are way more likely to be telling the truth about events than Hamas!
