He's a war criminal. How the hell does anyone in their right mind think this is a good idea?

Because it's no one in their right mind. It's a bunch of Imperialists responsible for the death and displacement of millions in the region as well as the endless destabilisation and destruction through their "war on terror" aka let's regime change those leaders who will not allow us to plunder their resources, classic colonial playbook.

That Blair and Trump’s son in law Jared Kushner are involved through the Boston consulting Group (the consultancy that helped set up the GHF "get shot while trying to get aid") should ring alarm bells.

BelleHathor · 26/09/2025 23:04

Blair initially denied involvement:

What's the alternative? Hamas v2?

itsnotveryfriendlyhereisit · 28/09/2025 10:47

Maybe not Tony Blair?

BelleHathor · 28/09/2025 11:15

How about a plan that addresses the source of the problem: the illegal occupation, land grabs and subjugation over the last 80 years.

This plan doesn't address that and there is something sick about proposing a war criminal assisted by a consulting group to strategically work out how to make a profit out of all the death and destruction that has been wreaked.

Britain and France are the architects of this mess in the first place through Sykes-Picot and the Balfour Agreement. The idea that Britain should be anywhere near such a plan is ludicrous.

The plan aims to exstinguish through political means the Palestinians right of return, right of armed resistance (before anyone says anything October 7th was not legal armed resistance). It's sick authors believe that the Palestinians are so exhausted and defeated that accept any shit. They fail to recognise the nature of Levantine people and the nature of the colonised to fight colonization.

Ihatetomatoes · 28/09/2025 13:13

Wasn't he one of the key people involved in the Good Friday Agreement 🤔

"Many people made major contributions. Tony Blair and Bertie Ahern were leaders of the UK and the Republic of Ireland at the time, respectively and Mo Mowlam was the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland. The talks were chaired by United States special envoy George J. Mitchell"

Maybe that's why he's there.

BelleHathor · 30/09/2025 07:20

Blair is still a war criminal and is still hated with a burning passion by many around the World.

It was Mo Mowlam who built on the work of Hume to get the NI deal off the table. She was then treated appallingly by the Labour party apparatus, those spin doctors briefed against her after her cancer diagnosis.

Looks like Trump has appointed himself as the head of this "plan", despite being such a busy man.

After watching the news conference last night it's a "surrender" document all in Israel's favour designed to extinguish historical and legal rights that Palestinians have due to occupation.

There was not even a Palestinian around the table during these negotiations and the terms were not even delivered to the other side until after this was announced and are seemingly sparse.

A board of peace headed by President Trump. I like the word peqce.

BelleHathor · 30/09/2025 08:00

Unfortunately there will be no peace, this plan doesn’t address that it's just a more famcy colonization with an added made in America™️ stamp that Netanyahu has already stated he won't follow. I do wonder who will get access to the billions worth of gas off the Gaza coast?

Remember the current Lebanon peace agreement where the IDF has bombed Lebanon daily since it was signed.

The Pakistani field marshall posted a tweet supporting Trump’s plan and hinting towards Pakistan joining the Abraham accords. Pakistanis have still not stopped cursing him out as a traitor.

I think this is much bigger than just Gaza, there is a lot of anger after 20'000+ children being murdered that the gap between American vassal states like Qatar, Turkey, UAE, Pakistan et al and ordinary people around the world is vast.

Let's see where this goes, but don't be surprised if there's war between Israel and Lebanon and/or Iran before 2026.
