This is the day so many have waited, hoped and prayed for, it has actually come.

For the living released hostages it is just the beginning, their bodies and their minds have to begin to heal and that will take time.

For the families, friends and neighbours/communities of the remaining 28 murdered hostages, the waiting continues.

Mumsntfan1 · 13/10/2025 14:01

So pleased and grateful that this day has finally come, barach HaShem. My thoughts are also with the families who will no longer have the chance for a reunion with their loved one.

cupfinalchaos · 13/10/2025 16:55

Baruch hashem. Yes we must think about those families for whom this day must be so bittersweet.

So good to see the reunions.❤
I can only hope that the forum families all have reunion, or some closure from this process. 🫂 🎗️ still 2 people with uncertain status I think. Bipin Joshi & Tamir Nimrodi.
citme board has been educational.

4 dead hostages have been returned in coffins (2 first and then another 2 later) and one of them unfortunately was Bipin Joshi.

Also, Guy Illouz, Yossi Sharabi and Daniel Peretz.

So pleased to hear of the return of some hostages, wishing the living well as they recover and reintegrate into Israeli society.

My thoughts are with those grieving afresh - and especially with those still waiting. I hope international pressure will bring closure for them as soon as possible.

All the hostages must be returned home.

This may be my last message as I will be leaving MN soon and my Internet went down yesterday, but silence doesn't mean I've stopped caring.

Times of Israel confirm the third body as Eitan Levy, and reports:
”A body returned by Hamas yesterday does not belong to any of the hostages held by the terror group, and instead belongs to a Palestinian from Gaza, a security official tells Hebrew media outlets.
The three other bodies returned were identified as Tamir Nimrodi, Eitan Levy, and Uriel Baruch.”

"Israel receives bodies of hostages Inbar Haiman, Muhammad el-Atrash from Hamas
Haiman, 27, a visual communications student from Haifa, was murdered by terrorists at the Nova music festival near Re’im on October 7, 2023, and her body was abducted to Gaza, the IDF said, citing intelligence information. Her death was officially declared in December 2023.
She was the last female hostage still held in Gaza.
El-Atrash, 39, a tracker in the Gaza Division’s Northern Brigade, from Sa’wa, was killed on October 7 and his body was abducted to Gaza. It was not until June 2024 that the IDF revealed, based on findings and new intelligence, that he had been killed while battling Hamas terrorists in the area of Nahal Oz on October 7.
The Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement that the government “shares in the deep sorrow of the Haiman and el-Atrash families and all the families of the fallen hostages.” "

@EllaDisenchanted reSargent Major Muhammad El-Atrash. He was a Bedouin Arab. He had thirteen children and loved horses. He was a tracker in the army. May he rest in peace and his family, and all bereaved families, find solace.
