U.S. President Donald Trump called for Israel to pardon Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu or cancel his corruption trial, saying the U.S. would save him like it did his country.

Bad new only for one ‘country’
Bad news only for those of you who hate Israel and support terrorist regimes.
Pro Palestine supporters must be terribly upset. The rest of the west couldn’t give a flying fuck.
Do you all care about the potential ‘genocide atrocities’ in the west?

It’s interesting how the dismissive tone here assumes the entire West is indifferent, yet countless humanitarian organisations, journalists, and governments across the West are actively monitoring, reporting, and responding to these events. Reducing complex human tragedies to partisan tribalism oversimplifies reality and ignores the voices of those who demand accountability and justice — regardless of nationality or politics. The tide is turning and Netanyahu is in trouble.

Aww am I dismissive?
You replied but didn’t answer the point about potential genocide in the uk

Hagr1d · 26/06/2025 15:14

"anti terrorist mission"?!

They've set up aid centres and then shoot starving children. Call it what it is - murder. Netanyahu IS guilty of war crimes.

In your opinion and that of many others, not mine.

I’m happy to engage respectfully, but patronising remarks like “aww” suggest you’re more interested in derailing than discussing. If that’s the case, I won’t waste my time replying further.

Really? After the antisemitism that has been displayed in this board you’re upset at ‘aww’?
So what are your thoughts on the potential genocide in the uk?

It is an opinion of many that if you are governed by a terrorist government you will not get west sympathy until said government is gone.
It disturbing how many of MN posters care more about a foreign country than their resident country.
It’s disturbing to see all these people cry genocide’ when genocide watch says it’s potentially going to happen in the uk.

Oh your assumptions amuse me. Now you are are concerned by a perceived ‘anti Islam’ comment but don’t call out anything that is perceived to be ‘antisemetic’?

Madcatdudette · 26/06/2025 15:51

Oh how the pro Palestine protest when uk genocide is mentioned.
Ih how they bleat ‘anti Islam’ when no fucker said anything about Islam.

It’s really not interesting because many in the uk don’t actually give a shit about Palestine or Israel.
Do you not understand this?

Two peas in a pod.

Or as I like to put it, two cheeks of the same arse. Actually Trump Netanyahu and Putin all cast from the same mold.

Surely if Netanyahu is guilty of fraud, breach of trust and accepting bribes then it is really only 'bad news' for Israelis to have a corrupt man running their country?

I'm pro Palestine and actually couldn't give a fuck about these charges tbh. Obviously they speak to his character but other than that I don't believe that if Netanyahu went Israelis would vote for a more moderate government so I don't really see what difference it would make if he was charged. The prevailing view in Israel amongst the general public according to polls is pro ethnic cleansing so who ever is voted in is unlikely to be a voice of compassion or reason when it comes to Palestine. Looking for change to come from within Israel is a lost cause.

@veiledsentiments You see this is the problem. People bleat about the genocide in Gaza but if you look at https://www.genocidewatch.com/ you will see that the uk is on there too.
If appears that people on here are more invested in a foreign country than what’s potentially happening in the uk

If you can’t look at all potential genocide data globally you are the problem that the west is suspicious about.
Hand up. I didn’t know but while at looking at the Palestine ‘genocide’ data it’s a wake up call to see that it could be happen on our doorstep.
If anyone feels that Middle East genocide is a more noble cause than UK genocide I’d have reservations about their motive
