A damning report on 07/10

This report might be the reason why the Israeli government, especially, Netanyahu, want to silence Haaretz.
It concludes that the government, due to sheer "arrogance and structural blindness", as stated in the report, failed to protect his citizens.
Maybe, just maybe, Hamas would have been stopped on that fateful day and the issuing slaughter of the innocents on both sides, would have never happened.

The OP didn't carry out the investigation or publish the article. They've simply posted a link to something that may be (and is) of interest to others. Many people want to understand how October 7th happened - the contributing factors, could it have been prevented, can things be identified that can be done differently to reduce the risk of future harms, are there individuals or systems to hold accountable for things, etc?

Have you read the report? Do you disagree with the findings? If yes, why?
Are the hostages' families and survivors not entitled to know why the warnings were ignored? Netanyahu has denied them an investigation, after all.
They have questions that need to be answered. Do you think this is wrong?

Considering the horrible events of October 7th justify in many minds ( the US government/EU etc) the slaughter of 42000 Palestinians the majority of which were women and children we should know every single thing about the events and any failures that may have occurred.

Members found that an atmosphere of deference to Netanyahu over the past decade stifled dissent among professionals and cabinet ministers, while the National Security Council functioned as a political body serving Netanyahu's perspective.

This is a major problem for Israel if they want a functioning democracy. He's also closing down the free press.

I cannot even begin to imagine the frustration of the families of the victims at his reticence. People need to know how this happened, why the response was so inadequate and to ensure it doesn't happen again.

Almost certainly because someone, or some people, don't want certain bits of information to get out.

There is the argument to be had based on national security. A deep dive into Israeli security prior to Oct 7 would have to question what Intelligence they had and how they dealt with it. That was Mossad's job.
No nation would allow a detailed and public investigation into the workings of its secret service.
That doesn't prevent there being an overall investigation, but it will have a lot of important areas that are blank or fuzzy.

I don't believe there was an official investigation into 7/7. There was an inquest that examined the role of everyone involved and many reviews and reports.

The US also had multiple investigations into 9/11 including a huge FBI investigation and there was a special independent committee.

Both countries managed comprehensive investigations/reports without revealing state secrets so I don't really buy that explanation.
