A large number of delegates left before Netanyahu started his speech.
A symbolic gesture, I know, but a powerful one.
He spoke to a mostly empty chamber.
I have listened to his speech. I have no words. Lies after lies ( Sarkozy, himself a crook, called him a liar, It takes one to know one, as they say).
What I also find utterly despicable is that he used the family of the hostages to support his position; the same families which he has refused to meet in the past, the families whose protests are met with police violence.
He goes on to call the UN antisemitic, as predicted, but he is giving a speech there. Would you be part of an organisation which you think is prejudiced against you? Of course, not.
Here is his speech in full.
