Netanyahu at the UN

A large number of delegates left before Netanyahu started his speech.
A symbolic gesture, I know, but a powerful one.
He spoke to a mostly empty chamber.

I have listened to his speech. I have no words. Lies after lies ( Sarkozy, himself a crook, called him a liar, It takes one to know one, as they say). What I also find utterly despicable is that he used the family of the hostages to support his position; the same families which he has refused to meet in the past, the families whose protests are met with police violence. He goes on to call the UN antisemitic, as predicted, but he is giving a speech there. Would you be part of an organisation which you think is prejudiced against you? Of course, not. Here is his speech in full. Full text of Netanyahu's UN speech: 'Enough is enough,' he says of Hezbollah, also warns Iran | The Times of Israel

He will do literally anything to stay in power.

Criminals shouldn’t be welcome in the UN.

He is turning the world against Israel.

If the UN is full of antisemitic bile, why has he gone there?

Lettherebejustice · 28/09/2024 10:46

Why was he even allowed to speak at the UN? Not surprised at all that so many delegates walked out in protest, vile man.

Lalaloveya · 28/09/2024 12:28

I didn't watch the speech because he makes my skin crawl. I tried to read it but after the first 15 lies or so I stopped.

He shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the UN. His army is killing UN workers and destroying UN infrastructure in Gaza for almost a year now.

I'm glad so many people walked out. I wish the delegates from my country had.
